The last time did this I wasn't able to finish and new books caused problems. This time I decided that I will do the 4 books that's out so far. If enough people post I'll do request and pit book vs certain book. However Eldar and Marines I will wait it out since it appears one or both will be coming out soon. That being said the request will be like Necrons vs Space Wolves for example.

The tournament wll start with Tau, both Chaos books, and Dark Angels. Since Dark Angels have benefits against Chaos Marines I decided to have them vs Daemons, while the Tau fight the Chaos Marines. I will try to make the fights fair if possible. If the line up is creed vs a tougness 7 character than the toughness 7 character will win by default.

The Tournament will only have special characters participate with some exceptions. I might do a. Different one with Tank Characters, but I will add them in this one for now. The way the tournament will work is it will be book vs book for the first two rounds. In the third round it will be a free for all. I know this will benefit books like Daemons, but oh well.

Ok here is the tournament rules:

1. Each contestant will fight another character with similair points if possible. If it is legal to do so by that particular codex said character can be upgraded with models/upgrades to make it close to equal against the Character's opponent. Meaning possible models cheering on giving bonuses. For example if Darkstrider is fighting Fate Weaver he can take firewarriors or pathfinders with upgrades to equal the Fate Weaver's cost to make it a fair fight.

2. The contestants will be picked from lowest point cost to the highest. An example would be Darkstrider from Tau vs Blue Scribs from Daemons. The process will repeat unitl on army wins completely. Meaning that if Tau lost all it's matches with Daemons than the Daemons would advance to the next round with all their special characters.

3. If a Character dies than they can no longer participate. However special rules can allow some models to never die. Like a fight between Celestine and Justicar Thawn can last forever. To prevent said models from winning by never dying I will restrict the models ability. If the model dies it has one chance to come back. If it fail to do so the contestant loses. If the contestant is revived if they die again than they will lose the match.

4. The match will last an infinate amount of rounds till a victor is determined. If this would generate a tie than it is a tie. Which means they will fight another contestant from the opponsing codex. If the tie is generated and no other contestants can be found than both books will advance to the next round. However a tie generated by both models killing each other means that both models are out of the contest. An example of an tie if the fight is going on for 30 rounds than it is pointless to go on. However I may end it much sooner than that. I will take this case by case.

5. Each model have to do it's best to fight each other. Meaning if no range options are available than both contestants have to fight in close combat from the start. If the contestants have range options they can opt not to start in combat from the start. After the first round of combat the ranged character have to stay within shoting range or forfiet. The only exception is due to first turn placement, opponent purposely staying out of range. If forcing the ranged character to move will give it negatives like snapfire than it will not forfiet. Also non range models have to do it's best to enter combat and can't win by stalling or trying to stay out of a ranged character's weapon.

6. The Arena will be a 2ft radius or a 4 ft diameter circle. Each model will start 6" away from the center which is 12" from each other. 12" from the center of the circle starts the difficult terrain barrier. 12" - 24" is a difficult terrain barrier. After the 3rd round the difficult terrain barrier will start to become dangerous and will increase it's danger by one after every turn, so on turn 3 a roll of a 1 is a failed roll, on turn 4 it's a 2, turn 5 a 3, etc. Further more no saves can be made against these checks unless it's an invulnerable save.

7. Each contestant have 3 starting options.
   A. Both meet at the center of the arena, melee contestants have to do so. If this is down both contestants will act if they both assaulted at the same time. Which means they both get bonus attacks for assaults. If a model have defensive grenades than the other model will not get it's bonus attacks. If one contestant chooses not to meet in the center than their opponent can't choose to be in the center.

   B. The contestants can start 6" away from the center 12" away from each other.

   C.  The contestants can start 12" away from the circle and 24 " away from each other. Only ranged contestants can opt to do this. However if such deployment against two ranged characters occur putting one at a dis advantage than the match can be determined as a draw. An example would be longshot vs dark strider. If Dark Strider can only hurt the hammerhead in melee or by being close range such a deplyment would put dark strider at a huge disadvatage. To make it fair said fight will not happen and they will fight something else or both proceed to the next round.

8. For the purposes of the arena fight outflank, deep strike, scout, etc. Will not be possible. Some characters can deep strike on a dime, but for the most part the tournament is about seeing what model is good vs what model. The deep strike tactic is a gimmick and can delay the fight. Further more the way the arena is designed it's better to start on the board. No reserves!

9. The cover save of the difficult terrain barrier is a 5+ cover save. Stealth and Shrouding or any other bonuse to cover apply. Simply touching the cover will give it's save including vehicles, the base or the whole model have to be in the barrier to get the save.

10. Vehicles can still get immobilized and lose hull points due to dangerous terrain.

11. After the first two rounds are fought. Which means all the codex characters have fought other codexes in one or two rounds will fight in a free for all in the third round. Who ever makes it to the 3rd round will be the lowest point model vs the lowest point model till all models fight. If a 4th or 5th round is needed the free for all will continue until a winner is declared.

12. Byes can occur even if 16 warhammer books are out there. If a bye happen to occur than in the next round that army will fight a similar sized roster. This will cause one army to fight more rounds than anyone else, but it will prevent an army to get in the third round with just one round of fighting.

13. If a contestant entires combat before the contestant can fire than the ranged contestant can get a free shot at regular bs according to his profile. If the contestant takes for example 12 fire warriors with him they too get to fire. Rapid fire determination will be the assaulting models staring postion.

14. If models have not fought due to being too cheap to fight in the first two rounds than the solution will be rectified in the 3rd round. Upgrades and adding legal model squads will be avoided at all cost. However if a cheap model can't belegally upgraded it will have to fight the more expensive model.

15. Moving in the shooting phase is prohibited unless it is used to get closer to a model or part of an attack. Turbo boosting away and relying on hit and run tactics although viable stalls the fight. If the only way to defeat a model is said tactic and it takes 20 rounds to do so than clearly the model is too tough to kill. Another reason is due to other models on the field would restrict such tactics anyway.

16. On turn 4 dangerous terrain starts. At turn 5 1 will turn to 2, 6 to 3, 7 to 4, 8 to 5, 9 and higher you automatically take wounds with no saves, unless invul saves. Even standing still will require a test. Also note that models immune to dangerous terrain is not immune to this type of dangerous terrain.

17. Flying MC's will be grounded on a 4+ and can not leave the ring. If swooping will cause the model to leave the ring than it must glide instead.

18. As of now spawing additional models will be allowed unless it is deemed unfair. The possibility of daemons spawing on the warp storm table can change a fight. To restrict it if it is a Tzeetch combantant it must spawn Tzeentch units. Same goes for Khorne, Nurgle, and Slaanesh.

Chaos Daemons vs Dark Angels

Across the 40k universe we wonder who is the strongest warrior out there. Is it the Swarmlord? You might say. Is it Abbadon the Despoiler. Hopefully this contest will determine who is the victor.

In the first match from the Daemons side we have The Masque of Slaanesh. It was a tie with the Changeling, but the Changeling opted to go second before it gets it's hands dirty. From the Dark Angels side Asmodai comes forth to fight. Before the fight begins however the judges already stop the figth. Due to Asmodai almost being doble in worth with The Masque the Masque has to step down and let Karank fight instead. Still of a bit of a point differance the fight will be betweent the two. Karanak can't legally upgrade to fight at Asmodai point vaule, so Karanak will be the under dog.

Both fighters opt to met in the center of the ring. Karanak with the highest I will swing first.

Round 1:

Karanak attacks first tanks to prey of the Blood God he will be re rolling to hit and wound on top of hatred, plus thanks to Locus of Fury he will have 6 attacks on the charage due to rage.

With a weapon skill of 7 Karanak easily hits Asmodai with all his attacks.

Thanks to furious charge Karanak wounds Asmodai 5 times.

Asmodai recievs two lethal hits upon his person. One hit slashes his throat and another acoss his abdomen. He falls over in pain barely alive. He knows one more hit will be his last. He ask the Emperor of man for guidance, and his resolve slows his deadly bodily decay. Asmodai will not lose to this under dog, in a literal and figative sense lol.

Asmodai knows he can one hit kill Karanak with the Blades of Reasoning, but due to better fighting skills and the monsters tough hide he opts to using his Chaplain weapon, th Crozius arcanum.

With 4 swift blows he managed to get two in which one penetrates the hide of the daemon, but is reflected by an erie force field. Asmodai was hoping at least one of his blows met his mark. His hated failed him and he feels that he has failed all of humanity.

Karanak with a gleeful smile ponders what he was thinking about requesting aid against this push over. With the thoughts of adding another skull to his master's collection the huge three head hound moster leaped across Asmodai and bit his head off. His other heads feasted on Asmodai's body cutting through the Marine's armour like it was like paper.

Winner: Karanak

Re rolling to wound and hit with high strength and initiative carried the day.

Ezekiel vs Skulltaker on Juggernaut

Seems like Khorne will be hoarding all the action while the rest takes it easy. The first fight in Asmodai's favor being lost to Karanak boosted the morale of the Daemons. Skulltaker on Juggernaut and Ezekiel is the first equal fight all day. However Ezekiel seems to be the under dog in this fight due to Skulltaker's reputation. Skulltaker takes delight on killing psykers, not that he shy away from killing anyone. Ezekiel knows he will have to fight to his fulliest if he wants to keep his head.

Deployment:

Ezekiel opts to start in the difficult terrain zone, while Skulltaker starts 6" from the center. Ezekiel hopes he will be able to kill Skulltaker before Skulltaker takes his head. Such deployment gives him 18" distance which doesn't seem far enough.

Turn 1 Daemons:

Skulltaker wins the roll to go first and moves 12" towards Ezekiel. Skulltaker being a mere 6" away from Ezekiel was able to enter combat with Ezekiel. The judges ruled that Ezekiel will be allowed to use and shot his powers before he became assaulted. It wa ruled that Ezekiel can use the vortex of doom and not hit himself. Evrything worked, but Skulltaker shrugged off the awesome blast with his aura.

Skulltaker plows through the difficult terrain to get to Ezekiel. Due to the Terrain slowing down Skulltaker's advance Ezekiel swings with is master crafted Traitor's Bane force weapon. If one blow swings true than the meance from the Skulltaker will be over. Ezekiel managed to get one blow through and ready himself to activate the force weapon's properties. Akin to Asmodai the Daemons's aura saves him. With the Taker so close to death, the taker unleasehed a furry of 4 attacks with one decapitating Ezekiel with one of his blows. The other 3 hits severed his arms and legs from his body.

With Ezekiel decapitated the Skulltaker walks up to Ezekiel's head and starts a daemonic chant. The head catches a flame till only a skull remains. Once all the flesh and metal burn away from the skull. Skulltaker adds the skull to his collection.

Winner: Skulltaker.

This fight had the taker's advantage. Even with instant killing the taker had a total of 3 wounds with eternal warrior. Sadly even if Ezekiel used mind worm it wouldn't had helped at all since ws 6 and I 6 was still higher than Ezekiel's.

All I can say is ouch. Dark Angels so far is just getting slaughtered litterly. Although it's been against 2 Khorne models that excell in combat like this hopefully the Dark Angels can get on win. On the brightside this does speed things a long.

In the next fight is Belial one of the big three Dark Angels. Being 30 points more and the next contestant cloest in points is Skarbrand. If you are a Khorne fan you must be saying Blood for the Blood God. I think this one might be another skull for Khorne. Belial opts to drop the sword of silence for a thunderhammer and storm shield. The thought here is if he is lucky enough to weather Skarbrands attacks and get a hammer hit he will strike before Skarband and possibly kill him. The only flaw is that Skarband can kill him out rigtht. Hopefully Belial can pull out a win for the Dark Angels.

Both contestants opt to start in the center. Belial's though on trying to get bolter shots on this guy is not really going to make a differance. Starting in terrain would help, but in this case it's going against the intent of the fight. If he had something ranged to hurt Skarband than yes, or was a ranged character. Since he really is melee than he starts in the middle.

With Skarband's insane Initiative he goes first. Skarband unleashes a fury of 9 attacks towards poor Belial. Thanks to Skarbands hatred aura and his monster rage. Everyone around him is teeming with rage and hatred as well, not like it matters. 7 hits met their mark with Belial using his storm shield to protect himself. Two blows make it pass the shield and Belial turns into a pool of blood with shards of armour, riped cloth, and tiny pieces of bone floating on top. The blow was so masterful only the head remainied intact. Another trophy for the Blood God.

Winner: Skarband

No surprise here. Skarband in my mind will go far and may win this whole thing. With I 10 and 9 attacks on the charge wounding on 2 with re rolling hits how you not die to that. However eternal warrior and a force weapon that can get through his defenses can win. Also I been rolling on the warp storm table, but like all the other fights nothing hurtful or helpful has happened. Due to being locked in combat mainly.

For an update 3 for Khorne and 0 for Dark Angels. On the brightside no more khorne for the Angels.

Next up is Sammael for the Dark Angels and Ku'gath the PlagueFather. To make this a fair match up and to make it interesting. Sammael can take a basic ravenwing attack squadron.

Sammael and his boys opt to start in the difficult terrain zone. While Ku'Gath starts 6" from the center and 18" away from the unit.

Ku'Gath wins Initiative and moves towards the bikes 6". Ku'Gath is punished by the Gods, but his resolve and being Immortal shrugs off the Warp Storm's effects. Ku'Gath fires his Necrotic Missiles and miss.

Ku'Gath tries to assault but fails he remains in the center of the board.

Sammael and his 3 bikes move 6" into terrain 18" away from Ku'gath and fires. They fired 4 twin bloter shots and a plasma cannon which bounces off Ku'Gath's really tough hide.

Ku'Gath with a huge smile move exactly in the center of the board and fires his missiles, which finally hits and kills a biker. A warp storm appears again and Ku'Gath's aure seems to ebb away a bit. Ku'Gath frowns and appears to be weaker and more vulnerable.

Sammael holds his postion. He knows by Ku'Gath staying in the middle he can always hit with his pie plate weapon. If he stays in the terrain barraier too long and move he will die to the terrain. His chances in combat will be worse than his shooing chances, so he backs his bike against the wall which gives him and his fellow angels a gap that Ku'gath will have to walk through to get him.

Sammael fires with his plasma cannon and his squads bolter shots. Thanks to Ku'Gaths weaken state the cannon and two bolter shots penetrated his defenses spewing green pusss all over the battle field.

Ku'Gath astonished that such weapons hurted him. It appers that the mortals gained strength through their fallen comrade. He wil be damned if Khorne shows him up. He stands his ground and fires his missiles. The missles missed it's target, but managed to kill another biker. He was hoping that the ebb on his shielding would subside, but it's still in effect.

Sammael holds his postion and fires with one less biker. Hoping to take advatage of the huge daemons weakness he fired all weapons which managed to bounce off the monster's tough hide.

Ku'Gath with renewed hope smiles knowing that eventually he will win out of a shoot out. His postioning guarantees he's in range leaving Sammael no where to run. He misses with his missiles. However Ku'Gath is punished by the Gods and his Immortallity this time didn't stop his soul from being attacked. Ku'Gath has taken 4 mortal blows to his psyche which would had killed most beast and monsters. However Ku'Gath is easily one of the toughest monsters around.

Sammael hoping to take advatage of Ku'Gath's condition fires upon him again. Luckily a bolter shot made it through Ku'Gath defenses and placed another wound on the monster.

The judges step in and change the ruling for dangerous terrain. It is appraoching turn 5 and due to the current rules it's harmful for Ku'Gath to enter terrain to try to assault the bikes. The rulling now is changed to standing still as well as moving through. Since it is turn five it will go in effect on turn 6. This gives Sammael a turn to exit the Terrain. If he wants to stay in terrain than the ruling will go in effect in turn 5 instead. This will prevent further abuse of avoiding combat.

Ku'Gath laughes at the judges rulling. However he is not doing well. This rulling now will force Sammael to be more aggresive and possibly assault. It's a problem now due to him haveing two wounds left. What's worst it seems the chaos gods been against him all game. Anyway at least this is the most interesting fight so far.

Ku'Gath fires his missles killing the final biker.

Sammael knows his best bet is to assault that monster. If he doesn't he can get flamed and missiled at the same time time with Ku'gath assaulting him. If he stays in terrain now he will be taking terrain and missile hits on his invulnerable save. Also he risk helpful abilities on the warp strom table.

Sammael speeds his bike foward. He fires with his cannon and bolter shots which bounces of Ku'Gath's tough hide. Just barley he was able to enter combat with Ku'Gath which he avoided all game long.

Sammael swings with his master crafted Raven sword failing to hurt Ku'Gath.

Ku'Gath swings back and puts a wound on Sammael.

Sammael swings again, but the master of sores defend himself with his invulnerable barrier. Also good thing Sammael isn't a psyker.

Ku'Gath swings back and bypass Sammaels defenses with two well timed blows. Ku'Gath is just happy with the win walking over Sammael crushing his body.

Winner: Ku'Gath

Sammael in a ranged fight was on equal footing against Ku'Gath. How ever if the judges didn't step in the bolter shot wounds which needed 6s and him to fail made it a close match up. For two rounds Ku'Gath had a +6 invulnerable and took a wound from the warp storm table.

The fight in a shooting match would had took forever. I given Sammael ample time to beat Ku'Gath.

I am pushing back the dangerous terrain happening on turn 4 instead of 3.

Winner: Ku'Gath

1 out of 4 fights was worth watching to say the least. Sammael opted not to go the vehicle route which could had been a liability in this format, due to him being possibly immobilized to terrain. However a rematch in vehicle mode can be done if enough request the fight to be redone.

So far daemons are litterly crushing the competition.

Azrael vs Fate Weaver is left. To blance the fight out Azreal will be taking a Veteran squad at bare points.

Azreal opts for the 6" placement and Fate Weaver for the 12" terrain placement.

Azreal moves up 6" taking advantage of the Fate Weaver being vulnerable at the moment. The squad fires 12" away and fails to put a dent in the bird.

Fate enters swoop mode and moves across the board placing himself in the same spot he was in, but on the different side of the board facing the other way. He vector strike the squad killing 2 marines. Tx to Azreal's protector aura only 2 died instead of 4.

Fate Weaver cast prescience and flickering fire with 3 charges. Azreal' will stood strong and denied the witch.

Azreal and company stay in the middle of the board. Although assaults would be good. Fateweaver can easily keep his distance and make assault's impossible. Watching how Ku'Gath won the last fight Azreal figures he will try the same tactic. Thanks to swoop mode Fateweaver fils to be harmed.

Fate Weaver laughs at his prey. He turns around and fly one inch away from Azreal squad in glide mode. Azreal questions this tactic since it gives him the advantage.

Fate Weaver uses prescience and 3 charges to flickering fire again. With the oracle of eternity the Fate Weaver was able to summon 22 strength 5 shots to be fired at Azreal. Thanks to prescience and a really high bs he was able to hit 21 times. Thanks to some really good rolling Azreal is the only one standing without a scratch while the rest of his men die to the Tzeentch daemon's onslought. However Weaver get's the last laugh when Azreal becomes wounded to warpflame.

Fate Weaver tasting victory does the unimaginable. Fate Weaver assaults Azreal. Azreal being a fighter readies his Sword of Secrets. Azreal was able to wound the big bird with a mighty strike.

Fate Weaver retaliates with 2 smash attacks and a hammer attack, I forgot the hammer, which fails to hurt Azreal.

Azreal feeling more confident in the birds stupidity manages to tear some chunks of meat from the bird. 2 more blows he figures would down the peguin.

Fateweaver strikes back and misses.

Azreal confident that finally that the Dark Angels will have a victory swings again. With beautiful strokes the bird goes down. Azreal back flips and is declared the winner.

Winner: Azreal.

Fateweaver was going for the one shot smash victory hoping his durabilty will carry him through. Another vector strike and shooting barrage could had Fate Weaver win this fight. It was a really bad decision that cost Fate Weaver the match. If anyone wants a re match I wouldn't mind doing this one again. However the fight goes on.

Chicop76

#2
Cont. Daemons vs Angels.

It would be Tzeentch to give Angels a win. Hopefully Azreal can change the angel's losing streak into a win.

This round will be Azreal vs Skarband. Only a 10 point differance Azreal is still looked at as the under dog.

To make the fight interesting Skarband allows Azreal to go first. Also a bit of rules bending give Azreal relentless.

Both fighters are placed in the center, but 1" apart. Azreal fire his Lion's Wrath in plasma mode and deal two wounds to Skarband. Azreal only hope is to win in combat and assaults. Thanks to Skarband he gets 6 attacks and can re roll hits. However Skarband still goes first.

Skarband laughs again and allows Azreal to strike first??? He bashes his chest and says I want to let you see you really never had a chance. Azreal not looking a gift horse in the mouth unlease a fury of 4 attacks that makes it through Skarbands parries. Howeve only one was able to penatrate his shielding and his high toughness.

Skarband laughs and says good try. At least you made a god bleed. With that Skarband unleashed a fury of attacks that would make any god proud. Azreal did his best to block against the powerful assault, but 2 blows got through which is more than enough to turn him into paste.

Winner: Skarband

Codex Winner Daemons

Even though the Dark Angels didn't put up much of a fight it was a hard battle to face so many special characters. Honestly all the daemons should had won.

The daemons advance with the lost of Fate Weaver

Daemons that advanced to round 2:
Skarband
Ku'Gath
Karanak
Skulltaker
Blue Scribes
The Masque
Epidimious

Now it's Tau vs Chaos Space Marines. In my opinion I think this will go rather badly for the Tau..

Tau Empire vs Chaos Space Marines

Huron the Black Heart steps foward vs Dark Strider. The problem with Tau vs Chaos Marines is cheap HQ's vs expensive HQ's. In this fight most of the Tau will probably fight with squads to bring them close to the points to whom they are facing. I was gonna do Huron vs Shadow Sun,but after the two cheapest fight the 2 most expensive the fights will be unbalanced after the second fight. That being said is it fair if O'Shova with 3 suits fight x. Probably not, but it's for balance. The best way for me to really do this is to do this as a free for all and start from the very cheapest characters from 16 codexes and work my way up. That would take a very long time. Since this way is quicker and codex changes won't mess with this as badly as the other way I think this is better. Anyway when the 3rd round of fighting start no more upgrades or taking extra models. My prediction is that Chaos Marines will win, but their medium point chrarcter will win.

In on corner we have Dark Strider with 5 pathfinders and in the other corner we have Huron the Black. Huron is starting 6" from the center while Dark Strider starts 12" away from the center in terrain.

Huron moves up 6" and uses his Combustion power. One of the pathfinders explodes in flames spewing fire upon his comrades which prtect his friends from harm.

Dark Strider steps back in cover 5" and he and his squad fires their carbines. 10 shots hit true and thanks to Strider's Analyser they easily wound Huron 10 times as well. The well placed barrage was enough to fell Huron. Another Tau opponent that dies to multiple strength 5 hits.

Winner: Dark Strider

The extra pathfiders really helped out. Reason why I didn't add firewarriors instead. Huron in points costed more than what he was up against, but sheer weight of fire defeated him. I wouldn't be surprised this happens in half the fights.

Kharn the Betrayer vs Aun'Va

Aun'va with 6 firewarriors vs Kharn interesting enough I think Aun'Va could best Kharn in combat. Aun'va elects to fight Kharn in combat with his 6 fire warriors deploying 6" from the center.

Kharn laughs at the easy win and enter's combat with Aun'Va. Kharn unleashes his axe fury and cause 3 unsaved wounds upon Aun'va. Since it's strength 6 hits it will cause instant death killing all 3 in one blow mwahahahahaa, but why are they still alive??? The paradox of duality Aun'va says.

Aun'va's guards strike back. By some miracle they managed to wound Kharn twice.

Kharn is bewildered. I am one of the greatest fighters of all time. I will not lose to the worst fighter of all time. Not to the space pope. How dare this upstart think he can beat me in battle.

The 6 Tau than move in for the assault and assault khorne. Aun'va make them stubborn. Khorne bellows in anger. Out smarted and out played and losing combat to Tau no less. The 6 Tau thought to be there for the 18 strength 5 shots was there so his guard can get 8 hit on the charge. Now that the fire warriors assault that's 12 additional hits he will take. He has to be really lucky to kill Aun'va now. He issued a challenge last time and Aunva declined.  Aun'va not being a fool declined again. The only option is to kill the fire warriors.

Khrarn swings at the fire warrior killing 4 of them. However the honor guard managed to get 3 wounds on Khorne which kills him. Just for arguments sake if he swung at Aun'va he would still fail to hurt him.

Winner: Aun'va

All I can say against ap 2 weapons they pretty much had a 2+ feel no pain. If he decided to strike normally than he would had done better which he would have to get through 7 wounds and a +5 save. A re match is possible, but if so Aun'va would d things differently as well.

Fabius Bile vs Aun'shi

Aun'shi is taking 6 fire warriors along. This fight favors Aun'shi who is good in combat and have fire support.

Aun'shi with his 6 fire warriors opt for 6" deployment which forces Bile to do the same.

Aun'shi has his fire warriors open up with rapid fire shots. They managed to wound Bile once.

Bile wanting to give the gift of pain to the Tau moves foward and pulls out his needler. One fire Wrrior falls to the needler.

Bile enters combat which Aun'shi accepts entering the patient blade stance. Aun'Shi strikes first over the marine and fails to wound with his fire warriors cheering him on. Bile on the other hand got the one blow he needed to cause instant death and kill Aun'shi.

Winner Fabius Bile

Lucius The Eternal vs Farsight

I was gonna do Shadowsun, but she can be 195 if she wanted to and Farsight is the same ost as Lucius.

Farsight decides to start 6" away from the center. By doing this he can possibly get two plasma shots in before combat. It's a gamble since it can now benefit Lucius even more. O'Shova could had just sat back and plasma him to death, but that isn't his style.

O'Shova's gambit paid off and he moves in 1" away from Lucius. O'Shova blast Lucius with 2 plasmsa shots wounding him twice. He assaults Lucius which Lucius goes before him.

Lucious opens up with a few attacks which one manages to get through O'Shova's shielding. O'shova attacks back failing to kill Lucius with the final hit to kill him.

Lucious attacks putting another wound on O'Shova.

O'Shova strikes back killing Lucious twice over. However th armour of Shrieking souls managed to wound O'Shova as a going away present.

Winner: Farsight

Lash hurts the soul ability. If O'Shova had all 4 attacks he could had died to his own attacks due to soul. However it was almost a tie and it was a good call for Farsight to do what he did.

Typhus vs Shadow Sun

Shaowsun is taking max upgrades. Even by doing so she is under Typhus by 35 points. I can drop the upgrades and take 3 stealth suits instead. I am doing the drones since it's an more accurate portrait of the character.

Chicop76

#3
Typhus vs Shadowsun:

Typhus deploys 6" and Shadowsun deploys 12"

Turn 1
Shadow Sun fires at 18" away with both fusion weapons which does two wounds to Typhus. Typhus however manages to deflect them thanks to feel no pain.  Shadowsun moves 8" away into terrain with her assault move.

Typhus cast Gift of Contagion putting Liquefying Ague upon Shadow Sun's unit lowering strength and Toughness by 1. He runs 1"

Turn 2

Shadow Sun moves up within 18" of Typhus and fires again. Shadow Sun's fires and was able to deal two wounds to Typhus. Shadow Sun use assault move to get 11" away heading towards the bottom of the arena still in cover

Typhus Cast Gift with the same result. He moves 6" towards Shadow Sun and runs 6" this time.

Turn 3

Shadow Sun moves with 18" of Typhus and stays out of Terrain. Typhus Invulnerable save deflects the one Fusion Shot that got through. Shadow Sun moves 12" away from Typhus in difficult terrain and losses her command drones

Typhus moves toward Shadow Sun and runs 4"

Turn 4

Shadow Sun moves out of terrain 6" towards Typhus. Typhus Feel no Pain blocks the Fusion Shot that got through. Shadow Sun moves 10" away in difficult terrain.

Typhus does what he did last few turns.

Turn 5

Shadow Sun moves out of Terrain losing both Drones to increasing dangerous terrain checks. both Fusion shots get through, but deflected by Typhus Feel no Pain. Shadow Sun moves as far away from Typhus as possible while staying out of terrain.

Typhus cast Gift lowering Shadow Sun - 1 S and T. He moves 6" towards Shadow Sun and use Palgue Wind which manages to put a wound on Shadow Sun. He tries for a 10" assault and makes it. With Shadow Sun firing wild blind shots at Typhus which hit Shadow Sun once putting another wound on her. Shadow Sun swings and fails to hurt Typhus.

Turn 6

Typhus swings and gets 3 wounds in this time and uses his force weapon which kills Shadow Sun.

Typhus wins.

The problem with this fight Typhus had no mobility and Shadow Sun did. If I didn't have an arena Shadow Sun could had easily kited Typhus to death. Especially going in and out of terrain. I forgot to add both warlord traits in, but even with out 3d6 movement Shadow Sun was easily able to stay away from danger. The 18" on the fusion range was nice. This figtht however was won due to Typhus durability. 6th edition feel no pain really helped him with this fight. It's like Typhus have a +5 re rollable save.

Abaddon The Despoiler vs Longstrike

This should be an interesting fight. More range vs Close Combat. To make it a close to being a fair fight the Hammer Head will have max up grades. I could add more units, but I think by doing so is an unfair advatage unless they can usually do so. Like Mordock foe example.

Turn One

Longstrike starts in terrain which the sensor spines will help for a bit. Longstrike moves back 6" into cover and fire his Ion Cannon and two burst cannons. After shooting 11 times Longstrike wounds Abaddon once.

Abaddon move up 6" towards the center and runs 3" towards LongStrike

Turn Two

LongStrike backs up 6" and fires again dealing another wound to Abaddon.

Abaddon moves and run towards longstrike putting him only 7 " away from LongStrike

Turn Three

Long Strike moves away 6" and fires with the volley of 11 shots failing to wound.

Abbadon moves ad assaults Longstrike due to good terrain rolling and assault rolling. Over Watch manages 4 hit and the flechette discharger fails to wound Abbadon thanks to his mighty terminator armour. Abbaddon swings and rips the tank apart as it explodes

Winner: Abaddon

Longstrike had only one weapon which could had did someting, but had to get through a 4+ invulnerable save. I figured weight of shots would be better than one shot. Just rolling for it he would had only wounded him 1 less times if I switched weapons.

Now it's time for round 2 Chaos Space Marines vs Tau

Tau Winners:
Dark Strider
Aun'va
Farsight

Chaos Winners:
Fabius Bile
Typhus
Abaddon

Dark Strider vs Fabius Bile, Aun'va vs Typhus, Farsight vs Abaddon is round 2 for the next line up.

This time Strider and Aun'va have to win on their own same as Farsight.

Strider vs Bile

Bile starts of 6" fromt the center. Bile moves up towards the center and fires his Xyclos Needler failing to wound with snake eyes.

Strider is able to move 2" back in terrain. Strider fires his shoots bounces off Bile's armor.

Turn 2

Bile moves up 6" and fires again and manages to wound strider twice with the Needler. Bile tries to assault, but fails to contact while Dark Strider issues a fighting retreat.

Strider moves again putting 8 " away from him and Bile and moves out of terrain. He fires again, but fails to wound bile.

Bile moves up again and fires his pistol and fails to wound. Bile tries to assault and should had it,but Strider manages to get away.

Strider move away from Bile again fires and fails again to get pass Bile's marine armour.

Turn 4

Bile moves toward Strider and fails to hurt Strider with his ranged weapon. Bile tries to assault and Strider moves away again.

Strider moves again and fires which he manages to finally wound Bile.

Turn 5

Bile move and fires and inflicts a killing blow with his Needler.

Winner: Bile

This was an Interesting fight since one person can fire 3 times hitting on 3s and wounding on 2s while the other hit on 2s and wound on 2s. The match went down to who was the most durable.

Aun'va vs Typhus

Both warriors decide to assault each other in the center.

Turn one

Typhus cast Gift and Lowers Aun'va and Guards by -1 strength and -1 toughness.

Typhus use his destroyers hive that can cause instant death which fails to hurt Aun'va and Guard.

Aun'va's guard fails to wound.

I think this fight I will speed up since only ones can kill Aun'va or wound Typhus

Turn 5

Unkillable and Unkillabile fights on.......

Turn 16

Typhus wich have been getting his hits in, but have been foiled by duality finally hits a guard and kills him to a force weapon hit.

Turn 17

The guard manages to put a wound on Typhus.

Turn 24

The last guard puts a wound on Typhus, but Typhus manages to kill of the final guard

Turn 26

Aun'va wounds Typhus and the battle continues

Turn 34

Typhus finally kills Aun'va

This was an epic fight which took forever. My arm hurts. To kill Aun'va and crew Typhus need them to roll a one which was also the same for the guard. If Typhus had 3 wounds he would had lost.

O'Shova vs Abaddon

The last fight wore me out, so I'll leave this one to be continued. Funny how Typhus was able to kill Aun'va and The Betrayer couldn't.

O'Shova start 12" away and Abaddon starts 12" away.

O' Shova fires and fails to hurt Abaddon. He moves back 6" and sits in the terrain.

Abaddon moves up and runs.

Turn2

O'Shova gets within twin linked range and double taps with his rifle and fails to get through Abadodons invulnerable save. O'Shova moves in terrain 5" away from Abaddon.

Abaddon moves and runs which put him within an inch of O'Shova

Turn 3

O'Shova double taps again and fails to get pass his invulnerable saves. O'Shoav than goes into the assault phase and charges Abaddon. Abaddon strikes with the Talon of Hurus and puts one wound on O'Shova due to his shielding. O' Shova swings with his Dawn Blade and gets a wound on Abaddon for tied combat.

Turn 4

Abaddon swings with the Drach'nyen and it lashes out upon it's lord inflicting a wound upon it's master. Abaddon still manages some control and deals O'Shova another blow. O'Shova was so awe struck that Abaddon's own weapon hit him he completely misses with all his attacks.

Turn 5

Abaddon switches back to the Talon and fails to get pass O'Shova's shielding. O'Shova swings and puts another wound putting Abaddon very close to death.

My bad I forgot O'Shova is toughness 4. That being said Abaddon won a long time ago.

Abaddon wins!

If Abaddon didn't go for the instant kill it would had been a close fight. If O'Shova was toughness 5 he would be much better in combat or if he had eternal warrior.

Chaos Marines wins and advance

Abaddon
Typhus
Bile

Tau and Dark Angels have been ringed out.

Thanks. I didn't expect Eldar out sooo son. Which means I get to have Eldar vs ?

Thinking about it it hs to be a codex they probably take a longg time to do or I can wait for space marines.

I might change the poll to wait for space marines

Or

Vs Grey Knights
Vs Blood Angels
Vs Dark Eldar
Vs Necrons
Vs Imperial Guard

I'm pretty sure those top 5 won't have a codex in awhile. Maybe Necrons or IG. 3 of them had 6th in mind and kinda 5.6 codexes. Ig has a flyer so they will focus on non flyer armies before flyer armies, same as Blood Angels.

The other codexes I think they are too open game and will change soon.

I think I might wait. I don't know yet. Tau took out a lot of Chaos Marines which will help the marines out. So far

Chaos: 2
Mankind: 0
Good Xenos: 0

Eldar vs Marines would be a rather good match up. Last time I did this Eldar was stomping with all those Pheonix Lords. If Eldar fight marines now I would say Eldar got it easy. Last time Eldar and Daemons was running the gambit.
