Title: Orks and Their Choler
Post by: Begel Dverl on March 29, 2013, 07:54:39 PM
Well, my friends and I all play Orks of some kind in some way, shape, or form.

After at least a year of no gaming, I came forth to propose a new idea, to make the gaming more fun for everyone.

It's simple really.

Orks are known for their drunken, frat-boy nature, correct? Well, we added a mechanic to the game just for Orks.

After the Shooting Phase and before any charges are made, they Orks can elect to roar and, litterally, throw and hurtle their insults at their foes.

Counts as a shooting attack that automatically hits. Roll a D6, depending on the assaulting mob. For Grots, a 5+; Boyz or Oddboyz, a 4+; Nobz and Warbosses, a 3+.

If the target is hit on the respective roll, they are insulted.

That's it. No negative effects, no buffs or de-buffs.

The target is just insulted.

C&C, if you may  :P

Um... So the enemy is always insulted?

They should also roll to insult the enemy after the enemy flees from combat or fails a morale check.

This one seems more apt than charging in, calling the enemies' parents all grots or something before they run away.
