That's not a bad idea. Question is, which one?

Call me tom. (I'm also known as tom206)

Goddam hell no. The stig should stay as a mysterious figure. Its half the fun. People who want his identity revealed should be banned from driving and have their nuts cut off.

Well, I think there is enough interest for one. The problem then becomes, I know a lot about Adelaide, but nothing about other state capitals. There isn't anywhere decent to hold the event here. From memory there was a decent size store we could go to in Melbourne but that's a fair way to travel for the guys in WA.

If you guys could suggest a few places that would be great.

Suggestions on eastern 'state' conventions...

Well, Canberra has "cancon" every year at the Exhibition park location on the Australia day "weekend" (more often than not a 3 day weekend) as well as "Wintercon" in winter sometime (Queen's birthday weekend for NSW - June).

Sydney has Leviathan at Easter, Moab in October (NSW labour day long weekend, generally the first weekend).

Melbourne has Arcanacon on the same weekend as Cancon, and Conquest at Easter.

These are the multi-event gatherings, where gamers from many systems converge and play.  From 40k to Infinity, Flames of War, fields of Glory, WHFB, Warmachine, etc).

I've met up with folks before at these events and a good time was had by all.

Brisbane has more 'n a few events, too.  OzCon coincides with MOAB in Sydney for example.

In all honesty I'm not able to travel much and hardly play warhammer any more, so I'd probably only come along if it were to be held in Victoria. :(

Yeah, umm that'd go down like a lead balloon hahaha. She barely puts up with my silly little plastic men as it is, and I only put up with her hating them because she's so damn hot.... oh, and that whole 'marriage' thing :P

Would have to craft some convoluted cover story, although im sure she'd see right through it...

School now all over for me, HA! Somewhen in Victoria would be nice but I've an uncle in Lismore so Sydney...not a huge stretch. But I feel the good folks at WA are missing out. I know! Let's all go to Alice Springs! XD
